A former Cub Scout and Boy Scout, Eric grew up in Merced County and Sonoma County. He moved from San Francisco to Mill Valley in July 2020 with his wife and two sons - one of whom is a Wolf scout in Pack 33. Eric enjoys all types of outdoor activities, especially hiking and camping, and is looking forward to his first full year as a Pack 33 Cubmaster. 

The Pack Committee Chair helps the Cubmaster and other pack leaders plan and conduct the year, and is responsible for recredentialling the pack with Marin Council each fall (updating the list of active members). A great job if you want to help behind the scenes.  

An emeritus Cubmaster, Erik lives in Mill Valley with his wife Sara and their three children. They moved to Mill Valley in 2011 so he could go fishing in local lakes. Erik grew up in the Bay Area and enjoyed participating in Cub Scouts and Boy Scounts in Half Moon Bay

Joanna grew up in Marin and was a proud member of Corte Madera Girl Scout troop 44. She worked at an investment management firm in San Francisco for 17 years before "retiring" to stay home with her two boys Zachary (a Webelos 2) and Tyler (a bear). In her spare time she can often be found volunteering at Strawberry Point school, watching her Frenchie Bruce, and in the summer, glamping along the California coast. 

Grace is mom to Cora (Webelos II) and Evan (Bear) who both attend Strawberry Point School. She and her husband Mike love to explore the great outdoors with the kids. Grace grew up on the Peninsula and is proud to be a Bay Area native. She works as a family nurse practitioner.

Laura and Dave enjoy doing outdoor activities with their son Christopher. Scouting runs in their family. Laura was a Brownie, Girl Scout, and BSA Explorer while Dave is an Eagle scout from Troop 39 in San Rafael. They reside in Sausalito with their cat Linus.

Brien was a cub scout in Southern California. His hobbies are skiing and scuba diving. He is a PADI certified divemaster. He has two children, both in our pack.

Returning to Mill Valley after an exclusive three year rhythm and blues review whirlwind tour of Europe and the Subcontinent, Sara helps our scout leaders coordinate advancement recognition for our Pack. Sara is mom to 3 scouts and one dog and has enjoyed being involved in Pack 33 for the last 6 years. 

Another former Pack 33 Cubmaster and Den leader, Ted is father to a Webelos I scout in Pack 33, and has a son, daughter, and wife active in Mill Valley Troop 1. He earned his Arrow of Light as part of Cub Scout Pack 3059 in Lawrence, Kansas (Bob Hohn, Cubmaster, Norma Hohn den leader). Someone took this picture of him taking a break from splitting wood at Winter Camp in 2020, and he decided to put it on the webpage to remind us that a scout is cheerful.

While you probably won't find fame or fortune as a scout volunteer, you will mean the world to your scout by showing them how to lead, and the value of volunteerism in your community. Spongebob says "give it a try!"  He would (Sheldon Plankton would not). We could use someone to help organize our fundraising, and to help lead some of our trips and campouts.
