How to Join and Register with Pack 33

Cub Scouting is for girls and boys from kindergarten through the 5th grade.  See below for step-by-step registration instructions.  Contact us with any questions about becoming part of Pack 33.

Annual dues include dues paid to the national organization (BSA), Marin Council, and Pack 33.  As of 2023, BSA National and Marin Council annual dues are $101.00 with a Scout Life subscription, plus a one-time registration fee of $25.00 for New Scouts.  For New Scouts, BSA National and Marin Council annual dues are collected upfront and payable directly to the BSA via my.Scouting.org.  The BSA will contact all Scouts at their one-year registration anniversary to pay dues directly to the BSA.  Pack 33 annual dues of $100.00 are payable directly to Pack 33 via PayPal.  In sum, in 2023, New Scouts will pay a total of $226.00 in annual dues—$126.00 to the BSA National and Marin Council, and $100.00 to Pack 33.  For Returning Scouts, in Fall 2023 only, Pack 33 will collect both $101.00 for BSA National and Marin Council annual dues and the $100.00 annual Pack 33 dues via PayPal.  Beginning in 2024, the BSA will contact all Scouts at their one-year registration anniversary to pay dues directly to the BSA.  In other words, this is the last year Pack 33 will collect dues on behalf of the BSA National, Marin Council, and Pack 33.  While students are welcome to join Pack 33 year-round, Pack 33 dues for Returning Scouts are payable each year in September.
